Wasting my life one day at a time...

Sorry to post twice in one day, but I thought I'd give you all the chance to make a little money and perhaps clothe your nakedness, all thanks to the beautiful savagery of Utah high school football. The Deseret News sponsors a contest every week giving fans the chance to pick the winners of each Friday's football games. Contest winners receive $50 dollars and runners-up get T-shirts. Not bad, considering it's a free contest. Also, you have the chance to beat me, not an easy task since I'm something of a high school football savant. Because of my part-time sports journalism job with a competing paper, I'm forced to keep a close eye on the game, and if you exclude players and coaches, I'm probably one of the most knowledgeable Utah high school football fans in the world, a fact that isn't exactly something to be proud of, but true nonetheless.

Every Monday, I'll be posting the results of my picks and the reasons why I should have won that week's contest. If you beat me and you're an attractive single female, I'll take you out for a nice, romantic dinner with a mandatory make-out session afterward.
